Terms of Service
The agreement between ShopnTap and the merchants who use our platform.
Last updated 02 Jun 2026 · This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice.
The agreement
These terms govern your use of ShopnTap's checkout, COD/RTO and related services. By creating a store or embedding our checkout, you (“the merchant”) agree to them. A signed order form may add commercial terms that take precedence where they conflict.
Accounts & access
You're responsible for your account, your team's access, and the credentials you connect. Keep them secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Use ShopnTap for lawful commerce only. Don't use it to sell prohibited goods, to process payments you aren't authorised to, to abuse the risk system, or to interfere with the platform or other merchants. We may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches.
Payments & shipping
Payments and shipping are provided as part of ShopnTap. Each transaction is routed across our supported payment gateways to the one most likely to succeed, and shipping runs through our integrated courier partners. Those third parties bill you for their own services on their own terms; their charges are separate from ShopnTap's.
Fees
ShopnTap's own pricing is coming soon and, once published, will be set out in your order form. Taxes apply as required by law.
Data & privacy
Each party handles personal data in line with the Privacy & DPDP summary. You remain the data fiduciary for your buyers; ShopnTap processes data to provide the service and operates the consent ledger and cross-merchant network on a consent-only basis.
Intellectual property
ShopnTap and its software remain ours; your store content and data remain yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.
Availability
We work to keep the platform available and performant, with any specific service levels stated in your order form. Planned maintenance is communicated in advance where practical.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability is limited as set out in your order form. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Termination
Either party may end the agreement per the order form. On termination you can export your orders and consent records, and we'll delete or return your data per the privacy summary and applicable law.
